Biography

Ms. McCarthy has served as a member of our Board of Directors since August 2023. She is a global senior executive who consistently builds brands and revenue growth while driving change through organizations of all sizes. Ms. McCarthy is a passionate team and people leader, having run businesses at many stages of growth and gestation over the course of her career. Bringing deep technology as a background, her career began in enterprise, infrastructure, and later consumer technology communications. Building upon that, she handled digitization and change management within the Fortune 500, including communications, supply chain, organizational design, employee engagement and technology deployment. Today, Ms. McCarthy currently collaborates with a diverse range of entities, including organizations, public figures, CEOs, government officials, investors, family offices, and senior executives, to foster growth and strategize through periods of transition or in special situations. Often her work within private equity-backed portfolios serves to triage and catalyze new markets and product arenas. Previously, Ms. McCarthy served as Senior Vice President of Brands Communications at Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (“LVMH”), playing a pivotal role in guiding innovation across LVMH maisons and ensuring the deployment of modern consumer mechanisms worldwide. Prior to LVMH, she held various roles at Nike, where she oversaw multiple facets of product creation, retail, omnichannel distribution, management, and business development. Before her time at Nike, Ms. McCarthy served as the Managing Director of VaynerMedia in New York, a prominent full-service digital advisory firm and venture fund. Additionally, she holds board and advisory positions with various entities, including Newman’s Own, Inc. and Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division, and previously held board and advisory positions with Kent Outdoors and Oatly, Inc. Ms. McCarthy earned her B.A. in History from the University of Colorado.
